Opposing counsel mode
Sage argues the other side, so you hear the attack before it lands.
Switch Sage to opposing counsel and it takes the other side of your case on purpose. It reads your file looking for the weaknesses the other side would exploit, puts forward the authorities that cut against you, and builds the argument you will have to answer. Then you can prepare your reply, fix the gap in the evidence, or rethink the approach while there is still time.
Adversarial by design
In this mode Sage is not on your side. It attacks the case the way a well-prepared opponent would.
Adverse law surfaced
It looks for the cases that hurt you, with a link to each one, so you meet them in preparation and not for the first time in a reply factum.
Rehearse the reply
Pair it with moot mode to put your answer to a sceptical bench. Sage never simulates or profiles a named judge.

Walk in having already answered the other side’s best argument.
