In short
Juris subscription fees are non-refundable, with one exception: if you pay annually and cancel before the term ends, we refund the unused balance of that annual term on a pro-rated basis. Monthly plans are not refunded.
1. General Policy
Subscription fees paid for Juris are non-refundable except as expressly set out below. When you start or renew a subscription you are charged for the full billing term you selected (monthly or annual), and access continues for that term.
2. Monthly Plans
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current monthly term. Fees already paid for the current month are not refunded.
3. Annual Plans — Pro-Rated Refund on Early Cancellation
If you are on an annual plan and choose to cancel before the annual term ends, we will refund the unused balance of the term, calculated on a pro-rated basis:
- ·We calculate the value of the months already elapsed in your annual term (at the equivalent rate), plus any usage-based charges incurred.
- ·The remaining unused balance is refunded to your original payment method.
- ·Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of your cancellation request being confirmed.
Example: if you paid for a 12-month term and cancel after 4 months, you are refunded for the 8 unused months, less any applicable usage-based charges.
4. What Is Not Refundable
- ·Fees for any month already commenced (monthly plans).
- ·The portion of an annual term already used.
- ·Usage-based or add-on charges that have already been incurred.
- ·Taxes, where non-refundable under applicable law.
5. How to Cancel or Request a Refund
To cancel your plan or request a pro-rated annual refund, contact us at juris@kwatateam.com from the email associated with your firm's account, or use the cancellation option in your account settings. We will confirm the cancellation date and any pro-rated refund in writing.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers, and the “last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
